To install iPadOS 15 on an old iPad, you will need to go to a computer and install additional software. The rest of the process is quite simple. Here is how you can do it:

STEP-1: Connect your iPad to your computer using a USB cable

STEP-2: Next, you need to install 3uTools software on your computer.

STEP-3: Open 3uTools.

STEP-4: Your iPad should connect to the 3uTools software automatically. As soon as it is connected, you will see a complete spec sheet of your iPad.

STEP-5: On the same screen, you will see the option to “Jailbreak now”. Click on it. It will take some time to process, and then a new window with the list of available jailbreaks for your iPad will appear.

STEP-6: Select the available jailbreak and click “Start Jailbreak” at the bottom. The jailbreak will take some time. As soon as it is done, you will see a dialogue box, confirming the same. 

After the jailbreak is done, you need to come back to your iPad. 

STEP-7: On your iPad, go to “Settings”.

STEP-8: Navigate to the “Profile Settings” tab.

STEP-9: Click on the “Trust the Apps” option.

STEP-10: Install the Phoenix app on your iPad. 

STEP-11: Open the “Phoenix” app.

STEP-12: In the “Phoenix” app, click on the “Prepare for Jailbreak” option.

STEP-13: On the next screen, click on “Accept” and let the app do its job.

STEP-14: After the Jailbreak is successful, your iPad will restart automatically.

STEP-15: After the restart, you will find the Cydia App automatically installed on your iPad.

STEP-16: Launch the “Cydia” App.

STEP-17: Click on “Upgrade Essentials”.

STEP-18: Upgrade the essentials to use the jailbreak feature. The upgrade will take some time. After the upgrade is done, the app will restart itself.
