Please Note: After getting iOS, Once you turn off your iPhone/iPad old Passcode, then do try again to create Passcode then after getting started following steps. 

Step 1. Go to the Settings app from your iPhone or iPad home screen.

Step 2. Tap on Touch ID & Passcode, enter Old Passcode if prompted then Tap on Turn Off.

Note: iPhone X User will see: Face ID & Passcode.

Step 3. Now, Tap on Turn Passcode On > then ask you Delete Saved Fingerprints? So tap on Keep, 

For the privacy reason, your iPhone will ask for entering Apple ID password.

Step 4. Now Enter Six-Digit Passcode, then Re-enter Passcode.
