Updating apps on iPhone has changed with iOS 13. The Update tab is gone, but updating apps is still simple. This tutorial shows how to update Snapchat and Instagram on iPhone. The Update tab is there, and updating apps is the same. If you have Automatic Updates on, you don’t need to update apps manually. The last section explains how to enable Automatic Updates on iPhone.

Trick 1: How to Update Snapchat or Instagram App on iPhone

  1. Launch the App Store on your phone.

  3. Scroll down, until you see Snapchat.
  4. Tap Update next to Snapchat.

Trick #2. Long Press on the App Store

  1. Unlock your iPhone screen
  2. Long Press on the App Store icon
  3. Choose Updates Option.
  4. Scroll to snapchat
  5. Click the Update button next to snapchat.

Please wait till the update is completed. It depends on your internet speed to complete the download of the latest version.

How to Turn on Automatic App Updates on iPhone

Instead of updating apps manually, why not enable Automatic Updates on the iPhone. Whenever the app update is available, and iPhone is connected to the internet, the app will be updated automatically.

  1. Open the Settings
  2. Scroll to the App Store setting.
  3. Turn the toggle on the right side next to the Automatic Downloads option under the Cellular Data section.

  • Delete and Re-Install App. Touch and Hold on App icon > Delete App from Popup and Re-Download from App Store. This tricks helpful if you missing some app settings and Core Update is not updating your iPhone’s root folder.
  • Wait & Watch. Sometime Geo location-based apps update will not come in your iOS device, In this case you have to wait for the next day. For Ex: FaceBook Dark mode update was limited to people in the USA, But now available worldwide.
